    Paigent ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

    1. Information We Collect

    Account Information: Email address, password, and any profile information you provide.

    Business Information: Business names, Google Maps URLs, place IDs, Instagram handles, accent colors, and number of business locations (branches).

    Review Data: Google Maps reviews (text, ratings, reviewer names, avatars, photos, dates, review counts) fetched via Apify on your behalf.

    Generated Content: Instagram posts (PNG images) and reels (MP4 videos) created from review data.

    Photo Library: Photos you upload to your account's photo library per branch, stored as base64 data.

    Voice-to-Text Data: Transcriptions from voice-to-text review collection feature using Web Speech API (processed locally on your device).

    Payment Information: Payment confirmation from Paddle. We do not store card or payment details.

    Usage Data: Number of posts generated, reels created, reviews synced, features used, session duration, and error events.

    Communication Data: Voice recordings and transcriptions from the review collection feature (only if you use voice-to-text).

    2. How We Use Your Information

    We use the information we collect to:

    • Provide and operate the Service
    • Fetch and cache Google Maps reviews for your business locations
    • Generate Instagram-ready social media posts and reels
    • Store your business and review data in our database
    • Process payments and send transactional emails (billing receipts, subscription confirmations)
    • Train AI models with Claude Haiku to trim review text and generate captions (non-identifying review text only)
    • Monitor and prevent fraud and abuse
    • Improve and optimize the Service

    We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

    3. Data Storage and Security

    Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL database) and Railway (hosting infrastructure), both of which maintain industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

    Review data fetched via Apify is cached locally in our database with a 7-day TTL (time-to-live) for performance.

    Photos in your library are stored as base64-encoded data in our database.

    4. Data Retention

    We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, including all reviews, photos, and generated posts/reels, except where required for legal or compliance purposes.

    Generated post and reel files are retained in our storage for download purposes for 90 days after generation, then deleted.

    5. Third-Party Processors

    • Anthropic (Claude Haiku): AI text trimming and caption generation. Non-identifying review text is sent to Claude API.
    • Apify: Google Maps review scraping and data fetching. Your business's Google Maps URL is sent to Apify.
    • Supabase: Database storage and authentication.
    • Railway: Hosting infrastructure and application serving.
    • Paddle: Payment processing. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
    • Resend: Transactional email delivery (billing receipts, password resets).
    • FFmpeg: Video (reel) generation processed server-side.

    6. Cookies

    Paigent uses essential cookies to maintain your login session only. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on the Paigent application.

    7. Your Rights

    You may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

    You have the right to request deletion of all your review data, cached posts, and generated reels.

    8. Children's Privacy

    The Service is not directed at children under 18 years of age. Contact [email protected] if you believe a child has provided personal data.

    9. International Transfers

    Paigent is operated from India. By using the Service, you consent to your data being processed in India and in the countries where our third-party processors operate, including the United States.

    10. Voice-to-Text and Audio Processing

    The voice-to-text feature uses Web Speech API, which processes audio locally on your device. Transcriptions are sent to our servers for storage. We do not retain audio recordings, only the text transcriptions.

    Multi-language support is provided natively by Web Speech API at no additional cost to you.

    11. Photo Library and Generated Content

    Photos in your library are encrypted and stored securely in our database. You retain full ownership of all photos you upload and all content you generate.

    Generated Instagram posts and reels are yours to use, share, and download. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to use the customer photos and review data in the content you generate.

    12. Google Maps Data

    We collect review data from Google Maps on your behalf via Apify. This data is cached in our database to avoid repeated API calls. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with Google's Terms of Service regarding the use of this data.

    13. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the Service.
